Project 365 week 3

Day 1

Promise I won’t mention it every week but I’m excited as I went up a level on Duolingo today!

Day 2

Finally found time to go and see Wicked with my eldest. She has been acting in a local Christmas show with my husband and it’s been a huge commitment for both of them meaning finding quality time together has been difficult the last couple of months.

Day 3

Started Sunday with breakfast in bed from my husband!

Day 4

Has anyone read this book? I loved the lido so much that I wanted another book by Libby Page but I am really struggling with this one. I started it about a year ago and I’m still struggling to get into it and reading the odd few pages every now again. Do I persevere or just give up?

Day 5

My 6 year old had his private tennis lesson. He found group classes overwhelming so he does a short 30 minute private lesson instead as he really wants to learn the game and be as good as the big kids in my daughter’s class!

Day 6

Finally after 6 years i can fit back into my rings!

Day 7

Helped little make a junk project for school – he wanted to make a zoo!

Well done with Duolingo and I hope you enjoyed Wicked! I am obsessed with it now and have listened to nothing but the soundtrack for the last month. lol
Good luck to your son with the tennis lessons. x

Well done on moving up on Duolingo!
I am not a fan of musicals, but my younger son is taking part in the school performance of Bugsy Malone this February, and I’m bracing myself, as he wants me to be there. 🙂
    Beautiful rings.
I haven’t read this author, so can’t say if it gets better. Sometimes I pause a book, and try to read it a few weeks later to see if it works better for me, but I also allow myself to just drop books which don’t hold my interest.

Ah, hope the tennis lessons go well. N’s have all stopped now (since the summer), as the owner coach guy left it too late to find a replacement for the coach going off to uni, and then he’s left the club and they’ve so far not found someone else. I think itll be too long for N’s group for them to want to return – it was more like a social evening for them which was annoying as his tennis level had gone down a lot after having at one point had 2 privates a week as well as the group lesson. He also did some assistant coaching with the little ones which he enjoyed, so he’d have probably done his level 1 coaching in time, which would have given him options for a bit of work

Ah that’s such a shame. We are on a 30 minute private a week split between the kids so one has one week and one has the next. It needs to ramp up for my 10 year old but the coaches have no spaces!

Definitely give up on the book it sounds like you are not really enjoying it so it’s not worth any more of your time. I love the junk project, my son often makes cardboard creations from our recycling.
I hope you enjoyed Wicked it does look good.
